6 mid-career artists have been appointed to deliver new, sited work for the Biennial grounds, which will open to the public in May 2008.
12 commissions from emerging artists for new works that address Tatton’s grounds are in development. Many projects will involve artists with special interest groups, developing new, participatory work; others will evolve over the course of the Biennial. These commissions recognise that contemporary art production can take a variety of forms, from audio and video work to participatory performance and the production of branded merchandise/artworks.
