Introduction

In 2012, artists participating in 'Flights of Fancy' are developing new works that reference Tatton Park's aeronautical legacy as well as the human urge to accomplish the impossible. 

Biennial artists are tasked with creating new work along each edition's curatorial theme. In 2012, artists are bringing their own responses to the precarious nature of human flight, the historical relationship between Tatton Park and the aviation industry, the inexorable development of our technologies and their applications and miscommunications in the post-global virtual village.
